This I Know

This I know, that where ever I go, we will go there together.
You called me and I know you, with a love that last’s forever.
I won’t let the cares of this life, come in and carry me away.
My peace comes from knowing, that you walk with me each day.
All the vain pursuits of man, can never help him understand.
The greatest gift comes from the One,
who said, "Father, your will be done."

I Believe

When I look back, on my life, all I can see.
Is kindness, and favor, that you’ve shown to me.
Without you, I can’t even breath
All I can do for you, is believe.
When I look back, on my life, there are things I can’t see;
Unknown danger, unseen peril, that you kept from me.
For the rest of, my life, I hope that I’ll see;
A new man, from the new heart, that you gave to me.
At the end of this life, I know I will see,
The face of the One - who, saved me.
Without you, I can’t even believe,
Help me to do more for you, than just breath.

Galatians 5

You are patient, you waited for me, to hear.
Then you gently, reminded me, you are near.
In your mercy, you answered my prayer, you saved me.......
now I know what it means, to be free.
Your loving kindness, called to my heart, to seek you.
And when I answered, you taught me your word, it is so true!
Then you gave to me, your gift of peace, in my heart;
now the joy of my life, is knowing you.
All I know - from what I have learned - points to this:
You are love, you are love; perfect love.

Creation

In the beginning, He spoke words into the formless void,
and by His power there was light and life.
He is the only One. The one who created you.
And He is the only One, who can raise you.
When someone receives His word, into their empty heart.
They receive the power, that created light and life.
How could there be, any other way?
This is His reality, and he need only --
Say the word, and His will is done.
Say the words, and receive His son;
Say the words, and be with Him as one;
Say the words, and His will be done.
Truth, Life, and Power - are in His word.

Daughter of Mine

What is Real? That is something each one must decide.
It’s more than how you feel. It’s what you believe - deep down inside.
The answer draws near. Listen first - and then you will hear.
Daughter of mine, do you remember when you were young?
At your bedtime (we would pray) and I would tell you about the One;
who loves you more even more than I could.
I spoke from my heart, what I’ve learned to be true.
In hope that one day, you would look to Him who calls you.
Throughout your life, He has always been there.
Drawing you near, He has answered my prayer.
By His faithful word, I’m so glad, you’ve listened and heard.
Never be dismayed, He will see you through.
Always be assured, He will always love you.

Only You

I cried out to you, is there any hope at all?
There is nothing more I can do, can you hear me call?
That was 20 years ago, Oh, you were always there.
Even if I didn’t know, even when I didn’t care.
Only you, would wait in hope, for me to look and call for you.
You, who waits at the door of each heart, to enter in, and make something new.
It’s true, only You, can make someone new.
How could, this life, ever fulfill a man?
Apart from Him, who made all things by His hand.
Only you can remove the wall, that separates us all.
The wall that causes strife, and blocks the way to eternal life.
It’s true, the wall is removed, and life begins in you.

Time

The days go by, and I wonder how can I,
redeem my time? It just seems like there’s never enough,
to do all the things I’d like to do, especially for you.
I know that you love me just as I am,
saved by grace, but sometimes I feel my life’s just a race
- a race against time - no matter how hard I try.
I know that one day I’ll stand in awe, alone in your presence.
So I want to be more like you, that’s what life is for.
Help me to make the most of each day, that I may see more of you.
Living through me, in every way, in all that I do.
In my heart I look forward to the day, when time is no more;
the former things have all passed away.
When day and night, the earth is covered, in your light.

Sleeping

I was sleeping when, you spoke to me, I-
heard your voice in my head.
You were going out, I’ll-see you later on,
and find out what it was you said.
Later on - how long is later on?
How long - before our time here is gone?
It’s so easy, to miss the little things, that-
happen along the way.
We should take the time, to listen carefully, and-
open our eyes each day.
Does anything good, ever happen by mistake?
We live this life, by the choices we make.
Oh Lord, don’t let me sleep while I’m awake.

When I Think of You

When I think of you, and our life together, all we’ve been through;
How lonely life would be, if I didn’t have you, here with me.
The memories we share, mean so much, nothing else can compare.
It’s more than circumstance, nothing like this, can happen by chance.
Our blessing from above, He gives us power, and renews our love.
And we are satisfied, to have each other, by our side.
Time can change, so many things; but there is One who stays the same.
Trust in Him, who sustains all things,
He will keep and bless you by the power of His name.
With each new day, there is so much more, to look forward to.
And I plan to spend, each of those days, together with you.
Even when our time slips away, there will be a new day.

Coming Back
He is coming back, (don’t) know exactly when
but I believe It’ll be soon.
Will you be ready then? When He returns for you
and the ones that you love.{It’s them I’m thinking of}
He is coming back, spread the good news.
Tell everyone you know. His love and mercy will,
set the captives free by the power of his word.
There are those who haven’t heard,
about the power of His word.

Prevail (Hymn)
I believe in you, I know your word is true;
Let my heart retain your wisdom, that I may walk with you.
I trust in you, I know you save those who do;
Sustain me with your presence, and your strength be with me too.
Your faithfulness endures, through each and every day,
Direct my steps by your word,

I don’t have all of the answers, but I know they’re found in you.
I thank you, for all you have done;
your goodness and kindness, my salvation in your Son.
